Gold Bullion Chart

do bullion dealers buy gold and silver bars for spot price?
what i mean by spot price is by the current price listed on the charts and the comex.
i have ten oz bar how much would they go for
No. Most dealers buy for a little less than spot and sell for a little more than spot. How much more depends on what we are talking about and how much. For example, a dealer will usually pay about 3% under spot for a one troy ounce gold coin and sell for 3-5% over. For a one troy ounce silver bar or one tenth ounce gold coin, the spread is more like 10-15%.
