Here is the auction link. It says it is “9.6 grain (.4 dwt) nugget”. I know nothing about gold, just my husband’s bd is coming up & I wanted to do something nice for him. Did I make a good investment? Will it appreciate?

Gold bullion is gold in some sort of easily appraisable/countable/storable form – something like coins or bars. Not jewelry, nuggets, dust, etc. Yes it is valuable.
