Can someone tell me what the average price is for a decent laptop in ringitts???

Also how much I would expect to pay per gram for gold in Malaysia??? Thankyou

Laptops come from about RM2500 up to RM12,000. I don’t know what you call ‘decent’ but for me that would be one around the RM4500-6000 mark. The same on a PC would cost you around RM1800-2500. When you are in Malaysia buy a newspaper such as the STAR, and you’ll find lots of ads and promotions, or go to any shopping mall and visit a computer shop. Looking around and comparing prices, and discounts, is well worth while.

As for gold, here in Sabah a gram of 98ct is around RM70 at the moment (in jewellery; say a ring is 2.5 grms, it would sell for RM175), but I don’t know how much in Peninsular Malaysia, it might be a bit cheaper.
