I need help … About prospecting for gold?

Hello I live in an area where they found gold placer was the other day for the first time and found some corn but do not know much. Can anyone tell me where I need to look in streams and rocks and things you can find anything of monetary value of the stream. Im in the middle / eastern Tennessee where please help me … Thank you

You need to find information on the panning. (Equipment, procedure, filing of applications, etc.) is too complicated to explain here. There are materials other than gold as the look in the "raw" state. The most common of pyrite.
