Gold Refining Methods

Naming a chemical that is used in Aquaregia to displace gold.?
I am refining gold by meance of aquaregia method.After dissolwing the impure gold in the mixture of Nitric acid and Hydrochloric acid I use a white concentrate liqid which is diluted in water in the ratio of 1:7. And then ioptain gold precipate. It is then dried and mealted to get pure gold. I want to know the liquid’s chemical name, because the seller refuse to tell the chemical name. So i need the experts help. Please help me. thank you.
might be mercury compound(only Mercury can dissolved gold))
